The Story:
The 1911 Kitty Hawk Glider was the last glider built by the Wright brothers, and was the last aircraft they flew at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Orville set soaring records in the glider, including a 9 minute 45 second flight on 24 October 1911.
This authentic and airworthy reproduction of the 1911 Wright Kitty Hawk Glider was built in 2011.
